FEEDING DIRECTIONS

This pellet should be fed free choice to maintain animals. This product is a complete feed for all classes of Rabbits. Feed requirements will vary depending on body weight, environment, housing and stage of production.

  • Non-lactating adult rabbits should be hand fed approximately 1/2 ounce per pound of body weight, increased or decreased depending on condition desired.

  • Nursing does and litters should be fed free choice. Nursing does and their litters will consume 1 to 3 ounces per pound of bodyweight per day. Gradually increase the amount fed from kindling so at the time the litter is one week old the doe is consuming all of the feed she will eat.

  • Fryers will consume an average of 4 ounces per day during the period from weaning to market. Free choice clean fresh water should be available for animals at all times.

CAUTION - Contains added copper. Do not feed to sheep or any species sensitive to copper.

Features & Nutritional Benefits

  • High levels of Alfalfa Meal - see and smell the difference compared to other major brands

  • Omega -3 Fatty Acids - for improved ratio of Omega-6 to Omega-3 fatty acids for healthy skin and coat condition

  • Unique Probiotics - helps establish and maintain beneficial intestinal bacteria for your rabbit while stimulating natural and healthy digestion by reinforcing and enhancing the animal's natural defenses against harmful bacteria

  • Multi-Strain Probiotic and Added Folic Acid - to support reproductive health and the performance of pregnant and lactating does

  • Live Cell Yeast  - for improved feed intake and nutrient digestibility

  • Chelated Trace minerals - along with Organic Selenium Yeast for higher digestibility of nutrients and improved fertility

  • Higher than normal levels of B-Complexes - for health and production benefits

  • Guaranteed Levels of Amino Acids - to improve levels and ratios of essential amino acids and increased protein equivalency dedicated to improved milk production, feed conversion, muscle development, rate of gain and fur enhancement

  • Added Yucca Schidigera Extract - for reduction of ammonia levels

  • High Quality Fiber  - along with other proven nutrients to maintain gut health, stimulate gut motility and reduce fur chewing. Low fiber high starch diets result in gut hypomotility, reduced cecotrope formation and prolonged retention time in the hindgut which often results in enteritis. Enteritis is a primary gastrointestinal disorder and often results in diarrhea. This disorder is a result of an imbalance in normal microflora in the gut; this disorder is often caused by insufficient fiber and or too much starch in the diet

  • Fixed Formula - all Rowe formulations maintain the same ingredients in the same percentages continuously

  • Rowe Rabbit Formulations contain no corn, high levels of fiber and additional nutrients to reduce the incidence of enteritis, improve the immune system and general rabbit health

  • When fed properly Rowe Rabbit Formulations exceed all essential nutrients required in a Rabbit’s diet
