ADDITIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS 

  • Cracked corn should be screened for minimum fines

  • Oats should be whole

  • Molasses should be old style blackstrap high DM molasses

  • Cottonseed hulls should be loose. Not pelleted

  • Mixer type should be horizontal if possible but not mandatory

  • Fresh water should be available at all times

  • Free choice hay should be available at all times. Grass hay is preferred, Alfalfa hay is not recommended
     

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Ration 01

  • This ration will provide maximum gain and the most body volume obtainable with maximum gain if full fed.

 

Ration 02

  • This ration will provide maximum body volume and less gain than ration 01 if full fed.

  • Chart supplies Net Energy Gain, Fiber and Grams of Fiber per pound of feed.
