FEEDING DIRECTIONS
Feed at the rate of 2.5 to 3% of body weight to provide .375 to .45 mg Monensin per pound of body weight not to exceed 200 mg (13.333 lb of feed) per head per day. and .10 mg/kg Diflubenzuron per day. Provide adequate amounts of roughage (pasture or hay). Consult Rowe Nutrition LLC for questions or more specific feeding instructions.
CAUTION: Do not allow horses or other equines access to formulations containing Monensin. Ingestion of Monensin by equines has been fatal. Monensin-medicated cattle feed is safe for use in cattle only. Do not feed to lactating dairy cows. Consumption by unapproved species may result in toxic reactions. Do not exceed the levels of Monensin recommended in the feeding directions, as a reduced average daily gains may result. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors resulting in high concentrations of Monensin could be fatal to cattle. Must be thoroughly mixed in feeds before use. Do not feed undiluted. WARNING: A withdrawal time has not been established for pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children. Harmful if swallowed or absorbed through the skin. Causes moderate eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin or clothing. Prolonged or frequently repeated skin contact may cause allergic reaction in some individuals. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling. For personal protective equipment (PPE), mixers and handlers must wear: long-sleeved shirt and pants, shoes and socks and chemical resistant gloves. User safety requirements are to follow manufacturer’s instructions for cleaning/maintaining PPE. If no such instructions for washables, use detergent and hot water. Keep and wash PPE separately from other laundry. User safety recommendations are that users should wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet. Users should remove clothing immediately if pesticide gets inside. Then wash thoroughly and out on clean clothing. Users should remove PPE immediately after handling this product. Wash the outside of gloves before removing. As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing. This pesticide is toxic to fish. Do not contaminate water when disposing of equipment wash water.
